Koxka celebrates its 50th anniversary

The strategic plan of Kgroup is expected reach 350 employees for 2020

On the 4th of October, Koxka held the 50th anniversary as a reference in the Commercial Refrigeration Sector. The event took place at the factory located in Landaben, Pamplona.

The successful event had a massive 130 attendees invited from various authorities, customers, suppliers and investors, with representatives from both private and public entities, celebrating the resurrection of the signature brand. Also in attendance was the presence of authorities from the Navarro Executive, where the President foral Uxue Barcos, the Vice President economic Manu Ayerdi, and Carmen Alba, delegate of the Government, which held the tour of it marks discovering a plate commemorative and witnessed a showroom display of manufactured, refrigerated display cases.

In his speech Uxue Barcos expressed and highlight the role of Kgroup as a creator of new jobs, which is a  priority for the Government of Navarra. It was also mentioned that the company is achieving milestones, in accordance with the strategic Executive plan, pertaining to research and development and sustainable growth.

Koxka, which began its journey in 1966, then followed by Kobol and nowadays under the business identity Kgroup. Koxka and Kobol are two recognized brands with recognition from around the world that offer new lines of business in the sector of the refrigeration industry, which is expected  to reach 14 Million euros of revenue this year.

According to the forecasts, Kgroup will generate 200 new jobs for the year 2017. General Director, Ignacio Razkin, advised during the ceremony that 100% of the sales in 2020 will be with products and services that have be instigated from 2016. Ignacio Razkin has planned a strategic path for the Kgroup to provide employment for 350 workers and reach sales of 80 million euros for the year 2020.

The integral process of success will be influenced with a major investment of 14 million euros in Research & Development via a project that anticipates a large 1700m2 research center to be devolved within the plant of Pamplona, This will consists of laboratory test rooms, product prototypes for design and manufacturing. There will also be an investment with an advanced systems simulator, durability testing, “The products that will be produced in 2020 will be a completely revolutionary compared to today products”, said Razkin.

Also, not to be overlooked the current product offering which preserves the quality of food for consumers that ensure the quality of life with regard to the environment impact, through achieved energy efficiency and manufacturing processes. This was recognized and Kgoup was awarded “The Best Equipment Exhibitor” supplier award, with the best refrigerated display cases which were displayed as part of a major retail exhibition which was received in Australia and has opened the doors of the Anglo-Saxon market.
