This certification, granted by the Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, enables companies to benefit from tax benefits on workers dedicated exclusively to R&D+i tasks

Kgroup’s innovative character has been shown once again with its recognition as an ‘INNOVATIVE SME’. This seal awarded by the Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Competitiveness recognises the company’s commitment to technical and competitive excellence based on research, development and innovation.

Thanks to this certification, companies classified as innovative SMEs can benefit from tax benefits on workers dedicated exclusively to R&D+i tasks. It should be noted that of the approximately 3,200,000 companies in Spain, 99% are SMEs, but in the best case, only 18,000 could be defined as innovative SMEs. The ‘Innovative SME’ award shows that Kgroup’s R&D+i efforts are well invested.

The fruits of investing in improving day-by-day

Kgroup spends 7% of its turnover on R&D+i, a significant amount that demonstrates the importance the company places on research, development and innovation activities. The results of this work enable Kgroup to continuously improve its product range, as well as to undertake new projects that ensure the business group remains a leader in commercial and industrial refrigeration.

In this respect, one of Kgroup’s star projects is the short-term creation of a 1,400 m2 technology centre in Pamplona, aimed at researching and validating new components, products and technologies.

This ministerial recognition as ‘INNOVATIVE SME’ is a pride for Kgroup, which certifies the company’s solid direction for the future.
